BARREL AGED Paideia: La Bastilla Geisha
Paideia Series Bonus Release
We are releasing one final bonus offering in our Paideia series. A small portion of our last Geisha harvest was set aside and aged in a freshly emptied bourbon barrel, allowing time, wood, and air to shape the coffee gently. The result is an exceptionally fragrant and indulgent cup that stands apart even within the series.
La Bastilla Geisha Honey is a honey processed micro lot from Finca La Bastilla in Nicaragua’s Jinotega region. This Geisha variety is grown at high elevation under Rainforest Alliance certification and harvested with meticulous care. During processing, a layer of mucilage remains on the bean as it dries, contributing to depth and texture in the cup. Expect bright tropical fruit, ripe stone fruit, subtle barrel-influenced warmth, and a round, velvety mouthfeel that lingers.
Origin
Nicaragua, Jinotega
Finca La Bastilla
Geisha variety, honey processed at the farm. Bourbon barrel-aged at our Roastery.

The Paideia series has always been about pursuing uncompromising flavor. It was built on a single premise: what happens when we remove limits on cost, process, and origin to showcase the most exceptional coffees we can find.
This is the last release in the series. We're ending it with a coffee that speaks for itself.
