Summer deserves an espresso that will shine in both hot and cold drinks. It needs to be bold with a nice bite and delicious flavor. In comes SoulRave 4.3 from Perene, Peru and the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica. These coffees are what summer is all about! 

In Peru, Jose Casas has produced a wonderful coffee on his farm this year. It's a nice large bean with deep chocolate like flavors. With only twenty bags in the lot, we are lucky to have some. This is our first year working with a crop from Jose Casas. Our broker works with a few farmers who have their own production processes in Peru and Jose is one of them. It's wonderful to have some great coffees from Peru this year!

Tarrazu is home to some of the best coffees produced anywhere in the world. Typical coffees from this region are clean and crisp due to the perfect soil and growing conditions. Many farmers like the lot we have are farmed, picked and processed by individual farmers. This lot came fresh from Costa Rica just about a month ago, and received a Florin top lot mark on cupping and scoring notes by coffee graders. While we liked how it tasted on it’s own, the pairing with our lot from Peru proved to be a perfect match!

It's chocolatey, nutty and everything we have ever wanted in an espresso blend. Shot's get pulled with lots of crema, and a deep tasting body that will not disappoint.
